Description
When we first tried this Bacchus by the talented Neil Walker from The English Vine, the whole team thought it was knock-out. Bursting with ripe, zippy and generous green fruits from grapes grown in Essex. The fact it’s named No.1 says it all really.
Tasting Notes
An utterly thirst-quenching wine with bags of lime and elderflower cordial on the nose and palate. It’s light and easy-drinking at only 11% alcohol and shows just how the Bacchus grape can shine under English sun.
A wine for anyplace, anytime... and especially the picnic basket, but we really enjoy this with fish and new potatoes, or seasonal asparagus.
