Ed's Baked Camembert

A pairing for our Joséphine et Frédéric Arnaud Côtes du Rhône. Recipe credit @eddmifflin

Our favourite kind of low-effort, maximum satisfaction meal for when proper cooking feels like a bit too much. Pair with a glass of our Syrah-based Côtes-du-Rhône and you've got yourself a party.

Ingredients

  • 250g wheelcamembert
  • few sprigsrosemary
  • 1 clovegarlic
  • 1baguette, toasted
  • handfulfresh figs, halved
  • assortmentsliced ham and salami
  • handfulcrackers
  • ramekinKalamata olives

Camembert method

Unwrap the cheese and place it back in the box. Score the top.

Slice a clove of garlic to poke in the top of the cheese along with a couple of sprigs of rosemary. Finish with a drizzle of oil.

Bake in the oven for 15-20 mins.

Assemble the plate and serve and a generous glass of Côtes du Rhône.
